Our Story

Morley’s has been part of London’s food culture for over 35 years. It all began in 1985, when Kannalingam (Indran) Selvendran opened the doors of his first Sydenham store, embarking on a spirited journey into hospitality. What started as a small restaurant with takeaways soon evolved into the takeout model we know today.

Indran believed that fast food didn’t have to be defined by big American chains—it could be rooted in the community, served with heart, and proudly local. That vision shaped Morley’s from the very beginning, and it continues to guide everything we do today.
